About Us

Jeremy was born in Fort Worth, TX in 1991. He grew up in a single parent home in Arlington surrounded by loving siblings and a loving family. Jeremy had a natural ability to draw and captivate the attention of other people at a very young age, his family supported his creative abilities by entering him into competitions and galleries. In 2000 Jeremy attended Thornton Elementary where he fell in love with storytelling after hearing his second grade teacher create impressions of characters during story time.

Inspired by family photos, Motown Records, Access Granted, and Disney Movies he received his first camera at 14 years old. In 2007, Jeremy attended Sam Houston High school where he studied communication graphics learning about digital and film photography, graphic design, video production, copywriting, and music production. His curiosity, charisma, and creative eye caught the eye of his professor which opened doors for creative mentorships.

In 2011, Jeremy attended Texas Wesleyan University to study Mass Communication with an emphasis in Radio Television. He became deeply involved in the student experience creating various student organizations, receiving multiple awards of recognition and becoming a campus figure. In 2014 Jeremy traveled abroad to study art in Europe where he later published his first photobook. After graduating college in 2015, Jeremy worked at a community college as an admin while also teaching beginning digital photography courses.

During the 2020 Corona Virus Pandemic Jeremy felt stuck creatively, and decided to explore a new career path as a user experience designer. In 2021 Jeremy moved to Austin to work at a creative agency, shortly after experiencing periods of anxiety and discrimination he left the agency to explore other creative opportunities. In 2022 He landed a new role working at a heavy hitting creative agency in Austin. It was there he learned more about the business of advertising, accounts, and how to get things done.

After learning the ropes of advertisement and being inspired by Austin’s local artist he wanted to honor his own photographic and creative work by entering into local art galleries. In the fall of 2022, after struggling to receive art residencies he decided to create his own photography exhibit titled “ATATIVE” which was an acronym for “A thoughtful and therapeutic inner-viewing experience,” The exhibit brought artists and musicians and a crowd of Austin locals.

Jeremy continues to align his purpose in creating work that would bring people together in the name of art, love, and unity. In March of 2023 Jeremy created Jeremysbox LLC.

Jeremy resides in Texas with his partner Mandy and is actively creating and designing.
